Intended use
The Displacement indicator VD with the inductive sensors XSD are to be used to detect the displacement of the line in transport lines and specially in elevator buckets with metallic buckets or plastic buckets with the metallic detection probe.
Function
The displacement indicator has the control unit VD and the inductive detection sensors that will be installed on the transport line.
In normal conditions the amplifiying unit VD is not engaged. When there is a displacement of the line band and the buckets are close to a dangerous place or zone, the sensors detect this displacement and can stop the transport line.
Mechanical connection
It is simple: the device has to be installed in a DIN rail using the undecal socket. After electrical connection, the unit control has to be installed in the socket and proceed with the adjustements.
The standard form is mounting the inductive detectors screwing it into the wall of the transport line or mounting into a drilled hole in the transport lane, facing the detectors onto a plastic wall to protect the sensors.
