Intended use
The swiveling lever in the different models SES with microswitch, SIS with inductive sensors and SNS with NAMUR sensors are to be used to signal and ensure the connection of hose in silo or deposit installations or any other tranport system.
The models are certificated for use in potentially explosive Dust and Gas atmospheres as well as in hybride mixtures (Dust + Gas) hazardous areas.
Function
While coupling the counter coupling or hose coupling, the lever is swivelling besides and the limit switch will be actuated.
At the ending of the coupling, the lever moves back to the initial position and the switch is disengaged.
In addition, there is a hole to place a security padlock if required.
Mechanical connection
Mount the indicator using the round steel shackle over the tube.
The lever must be installed over the connection, approximately at medium height and when it is mounted to inclined or horizontal tubing, the swivelling lever limit switch always must be mount on the top side. The lever must fall trough his own weight in the drafted final position.
