Intended use
Standard model for internal lateral mounting with Stainless Steel body, Ø 17x70 mm joint float, 1 NO contact reversible to NC, with thread process connection and with DIN 43650 connector electrical output.
These devices are used to control the level in tanks, containers, bypass pipes, ... of liquids like waters, oils, chemical products, ... with non-ferric particles in suspension are used. This model is specially indicated to be control the maximum, minimum or an alarm level in small tanks.
Function
The magnetic float switches have an articulated body with a float.
Inside the body there is a REED contact that changes its position due to the magnetic field of the magnet placed inside the float when the level of the liquid reaches its level due to the angle deviation of the float.
To reverse the NO contact to NC contact, change the mounting position of the float 180 º.
Mechanical connection
The standard form is mounting the device with the thread connection in the side of the tank or container. The tappered thread is 1/2 " NPT male, and can be fixed introducing it into a threaded socket or using 1 nut.
For a correct use of the level switch, the float must not touch the walls of the tank and it is necessary to ensure the free movement of the float.
