Intended use
Model for vertical mounting with for a continous measurement with 4-20 mA output and shown mA and % output in a LCD display.
The capacitive levels indicators L-E5N and L-E5N T are to be used to control the level with a continous measurement of liquid like water, oil, chemical products, etc., in tanks or recipients.
These indicators have a Stainless Steel rod recovered of PTFE and the devices can have a shaft up to 2.000 mm length depending of the product to control. The model L-E5N T has a concentrical metallic tube to control the level in non-metallic tanks.
It is not recommended for sticky liquids or products that have the tendency to settle over probe.
Function
These models bases their function in the change of the capacity of the environment. The rod of the indicator must to be exposed to the material. When the level of product raises and covers the rod, the capacity of the environment changes and the electronic module converts this variation in a continous 4 ... 20 mA output. The LCD display shows the level in % and the current output in mA of this level.
Also, there is a filter option to reduce fluctuations and turbulence.
For an easy adjustment, there are 4 buttons in the electronic module of the device to select the minimum and maximum level and the adjustment of the turbulence and fluctuation filter.
Mechanical connection
The device has to be mounted vertically.
The normal installation is by screwing the device onto the deposit wall, with a mounting flange or with an appropiate support to fix it.
